Allyce Embellished Denim Jacket

Drawing inspiration from the ruggedness of workwear, the Allyce jacket puts an artisanal spin on the denim jacket, as it undergoes a multi-step artisanal process to achieve its one-of-a-kind look. First, a team of six technicians treat this jacket with colour fading and hand-sanding for a well-worn appearance. Next, a series of cotton-and-wool-blend patches – inspired by vintage blanket linings – are rinsed, washed and stitched to the jacket using a combination of hand and machine stitching techniques. Once applied, the entire jacket is treated with a bath tint and distressed for a vintage-inspired look. Finally, a second team of five specialised embroiderers embellish this jacket with a mix of glass materials, sequins, resin and ostrich feathers, showcasing Ralph Lauren’s commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
